About Us
MSeis is a UK based company specialising in the manufacture of passive acoustic monitoring (PAM) systems and provision of skilled operators for seismic and research surveys. With over 20 years experience in marine seismic surveying we are keen to promote environmental awareness amongst colleagues and clients alike.
The main focus of our business is Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) systems, however we cater for other needs of the seismic and marine research industries. Please see the menu to the left for more information on our services.

Guidelines are now in place to help the industry protect this environment and the JNCC / DTI now recommends that most seismic surveys are carried out with 1 or 2 observers (MMO's) onboard for the duration of the survey, also where operations are in sensitive areas PAM is becoming more widely used as a mitigation tool.
It is important that these observers and operators have a full understanding of the seismic operation and a knowledge of marine mammals.
